Summer Recap
August 28, 2011

Throughout the summer the new design has been taking shape, and for the first time in the team's history, we will be creating a 2-wheeled, fully faired, recumbent bicycle. We anticipate this new design will have many obstacles to overcome, so we will be building a prototype vehicle to test new concepts. This will allow us to make a safer, more reliable final product, as well as give our team more time to become familiar with the riding style of a 2-wheel bike. This added familiarity will ensure both safer and more competitive riding at competition.

Competition Results
June 12, 2011

Competition went well this year. We did not place as high as we would have liked to, but our bike had only one minor breakdown, which was a large improvement over previous years' performances as well as the performance of other teams at the competition. Competition has long since finished and plans are underway for the upcoming year! Here's what the team has been up to:

In the weeks following competition we evaluated the successes and failures of the current bike and revised the design for the upcoming year. Some drastic design changes were made in order to create a more competitive bike. After electing members to leadership positions for the 2011-2012 year, we immediately began working to achieve this goal.
